Dr. Reiner Ponschab was elected one of the best German lawyers for arbitration and mediation

Best Lawyers (www.bestlawyers.com) elects HEUSSEN lawyer Dr. Reiner Ponschab to the “Germany list of best lawyers” for the areas arbitration and mediation.

Since more than a quarter of a century the US publishing house Best Lawyers releases lists of the best lawyers, recommended by colleagues, and thereby facilitates clients and also colleagues all over the world the search for the right lawyer.

The US publisher Best Lawyers composed exclusively for Handelsblatt a list of German lawyers from 41 areas of law. The list will be printed in May 2010 but was already published on www.handelsblatt.com.

The choice of the designated lawyers is based on a thorough and strict appraisal by colleagues. The survey contains more than 90.000 confidential evaluations of more than 780 top lawyers.

Dr. Ponschab is one of the co-founders of the firm's Munich office and works as of counsel. He specializes in litigation and alternative dispute resolution and is considered to be one of the pioneers of commercial mediation in Germany. He is the Chairman of the Committee for Out-of-Court Dispute Resolution of the Deutsche Anwaltverein (DAV) (German Lawyers' Association) and President of the Gesellschaft für Wirtschaftsmediation und Konfliktmanagement e.V. (Association for Commercial Mediation and Dispute Management).
