"HEUSSEN Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft and HEUSSEN Italia sponsor charity concert in Rome for the victims of the earthquake in Onna”

On 7 April 2010 a charity concert took place in Rome for the victims of the violent earthquake in Onna in the Abruzzi under the protectorate of Germany’s and Italy’s presidents Giorgio Napoletano and Horst Köhler.

Last year the village – among several other villages in this area – was almost completely destroyed.

The Federal Republic of Germany supports the reconstruction in Onna in a special way; historical background is a massacre in the mountain village in the year 1944 by the German occupation troops.

The concert of the Munich Bach Choir and the Bach Collegium in the Roman Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore was attended by high-ranking politicians and representatives of the Italian and German economy. Afterwards, the German ambassador held a reception in Rome.
