At HEUSSEN all of our offices have experienced lawyers and internationally-geared teams to provide employment law services. We inform and react quickly when there are new trends, statutory amendments and changes in case law and offer practice-oriented advice aimed at future developments.
In this field we focus on:
- Drafting, particularly employment contracts, employment agreements for senior executives, shop agreements, employee stock ownership plans (e.g. stock options)
- All topics and services covered by ongoing advice, such as for example preparing warning notices and notices of termination, resolving industrial relations issues or providing information about the scope for action under statute and collective agreements
- Litigation before the employment courts including unfair dismissal cases, cases in chambers and interlocutory injunctions
- Preparing and implementing employment law projects such as restructuring, start-up advice, seconding employees abroad, work permit procedures (Global Visa Solutions), structuring and drafting company pension schemes
Together with our colleagues abroad we coordinate the worldwide deployment of employees, the implementation of employment contract provisions such as stock option plans and cross-border restructuring. When advising we point out potential risks and suggest alternative solutions at the preliminary stage already so as to avoid costly and time-consuming litigation in the employment courts.
