Dr. Hermann Waldhauser works at our Munich office. He has specialised in media and technology law for many years starting with his work at the Max-Planck Institute for Foreign and International Patent, Copyright and Competition Law and has focused on this area of law ever since. As head of Heussen’s IT, IP and Telecommunications Practice Group he advises companies on all aspects of commercial law. He primarily deals with issues of production, distribution and marketing of intellectual property rights and related technical products including measures of protecting intellectual and industrial property rights. He has extensive experience in the sectors of film and television, radio, publishing, music, software and advertising as well as mobile and online-media. As a former member of the German national hockey team and author of the book "Die Fernsehrechte des Sportveranstalters" ("The Television Rights of Promoters of Sports Events") Dr. Waldhauser also covers legal aspects of marketing, particularly for sports events.

- For many years, legal publisher JUVE has featured Dr. Hermann Waldhauser on its list of "frequently recommended lawyers" in the field of IT, IP and media laws.
