Industria advised on portfolio sale worth more than EUR 1 billion
Industria Wohnen, the real estate subsidiary of Degussa Bank, has sold the real estate portfolio of its real estate special fund Wohnen Deutschland. The buyer is the Danish PFA. The Century portfolio comprises 33 residential properties. The purchase price amounts to approximately 900 million euros (net), the total investment volume including development potential is estimated at approximately 1.2 billion euros gross.

Wöhr + Bauer assisted in the purchase of three office towers in Eschborn
The Munich project developer Wöhr + Bauer acquired an office ensemble with 22,000 m² Rent and 1.5 hectares of land in Eschborn. Seller is the Karl Group from the Bavarian Innernzell. The office ensemble, consisting of three empty, eight-storey office buildings will be used for commercial and residential purposes in the future. The purchase price has been agreed not to disclose anything.

BlueRock advised on the sale of Techem Headquarters in Eschborn
The BlueRock Fund has sold the headquarters of energy service provider Techem Energy Services GmbG in Eschborn to a Luxembourg fund. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. However, BlueRock director Ronny Pifko speaks of a "profitable sale" and the associated "excellent return".

Award of the Benno Heussen Prize to Prof. Matthias Kilian
The working group "Kanzleimanagement" in the German Bar Association has awarded the Benno Heussen Prize to Cologne law professor Dr. Matthias Kilian this year. The award ceremony took place on 7 June 2018 in Mannheim as part of the German Lawyers' Day 2018.
Prize winner Prof. Dr. Kilian has been Director of the Soldan Institute and Professor at the University of Cologne for many years. Within the scope of his activities, Kilian deals with the internal structures of the legal profession, developments on the legal services market as well as professional law issues. Legal Advice for Real I.S. on Recent Transaction
Munich-based investment fund provider Real I.S. recently sold the Circoleum office building, located at Siemensstraße 21 in Bad Homburg near Frankfurt. The purchaser is Concarus, a corporate affiliate of the May & Porth Group. The selling price for the property was listed at approx. 40 million Euros.

German-based CIREAS GmbH – Consultants in Real Estate and Structuring – has acquired another specialty market of Accom, a leading real estate investor and service provider in Germany, for a local family office. That specialty market is located in the town of Hoyerswerda, Saxony. Accom had put the object in question up for sale as part of a portfolio adjustment. All parties involved agreed not to disclose the actual purchase price. This follows a similar transaction finalized just the summer before, in which CIREAS acquired a specialty market located in the Bavarian resort town of Bad Tölz for another family office.

An investment company affiliated with Munich-based real estate investment company Real I.S. AG has sold roughly 8,500 sq. meters (almost 91,500 sq. ft.) of retail and office property to Truvia, a capital management company based in Frankfurt. The anchor tenant of the property is Swedish retail clothing company H&M. For the first time, the leading British law-magazine „the Lawyer“ included HEUSSEN in its annual ranking „European 100 – The Continental Elite“, which identifies the top high profit law firms in continental Europe. HEUSSEN extends its copyright and media law practice group in Berlin
On 1 May 2011 Marcus M. Hotze joined the Berlin office of HEUSSEN Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH. Mr. Hotze (38) is qualified as lawyer in Germany and is a specialist for copyright and media law. He previously worked for Luther Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft in Berlin where he was co-head of the nationwide practice group „Media & Advertising“.
HEUSSEN Frankfurt office takes over SNP office
The HEUSSEN Frankfurt office will start invigorated into the new year 2011. The SNP Schlawien Naab Partnership, consisting of ten lawyers, will join the HEUSSEN office, situated at the Platz der Einheit, as a whole in the coming weeks.
HEUSSEN strengthens its Stuttgart office
The Stuttgart office of HEUSSEN Rechtsanwaltsgesellschafts mbH was able to win over two partners of the law firm Kleiner Rechtsanwälte, also situated in Stuttgart. With these two experienced lawyers joining HEUSSEN, the law firm will gather strength in the Stuttgart region and its Corporate Law practice group will be able to focus on new sectors.
Endowed chair for the law of renewable energies – HEUSSEN actively engaged in EBS Law School
The newly founded EBS Law School in Wiesbaden is pleased to announce its first endowed professorship: together with HEUSSEN Rechtsanwaltsgesellschaft mbH the EBS Law School has taken the initiative to build up a chair with focus on the law of renewable energies. This chair will contribute to the academic foundation of this young field of law in Germany.

SIBETH co-founder Dr. Norbert Huber joined HEUSSEN’s Munich office and will from now on strengthen the practice group Public Law/ Public Procurement Law. 40 years old Dr. Huber was partner at SIBETH since 2005 in the field of “Public Sector“. He began his career at Nörr Stiefenhöfer Lutz and then moved on to ARCON Schmitdt-Sibeth Heisse Weisskopf Kursawe.
