Dr. Martin Feyock
Admitted to the bar as an attorney in 1989, Dr. Martin Feyock began his legal career in a Munich-based media law firm, which was merged into the transregional law firm of Gaederz Vieregge Quack Kreile in 1992, where he became equity partner in 1995. In 2001, he made equity partner at the London law firm Norton Rose, having cofounded the firm’s Munich office. From 2004 to 2014, he was active as the founding and name partner of a Munich firm specialized in media law. In 2014, Dr. Martin Feyock joined the HEUSSEN law firm, where he now works of counsel in the field of media law.
With his long legal career, which has taken him from transregional and international law offices to firms specializing in media law, Dr. Martin Feyock is a highly experienced legal expert in all law fields concerning mid-sized media companies. He focuses his consultancy on licensing and copyrights.
Specifically, he has comprehensive experience in the claims enforcement process in court and advises business owners on all sorts of legal business matters, particularly in corporate law, enlisting the help of experts from other law fields, if necessary.
Since 1992, Dr. Martin Feyock has been active as legal consultant for the Association of German Advertising Producers (VDW). He is co-initiator and managing director of the collecting society Verwertungsgesellschaft TWF Treuhandgesellschaft Werbung and the German Advertising Film Academy (Deutsche Werbefilmakademie), in addition to being the advertising director of Producers’ Alliance, the representation agency for German film producers. In this environment, he engages in the legislative process by representing the business interests of commercial and industrial film producers and participating authors.
